AirJet Shower Drying System Featured in 2025 Urban NW Homes Showhouse

AIRMADA Drying Solutions was recently featured in the 2025 Urban NW Homes showhouse named Fairway Edge, an ode to its stunning location on the ninth hole of a golf course in Mount Hood, Oregon. The 5,445-square-foot house blends luxury and an organic aesthetic while emphasizing sustainability and green design.

In the master bathroom, the AirJet Shower Drying System was incorporated into the shower to keep the space clean, dry and mildew-free. AirJet Linear was installed along the bottom of the shower wall, with forced air being directed across the floor. This will decrease the risk of slippery floors and prolong the life of tile and grout. AirJet Nozzles were also placed in each of the two shower niches to prevent any mold buildup on the flat surfaces of the shelves. The brushed nickel trim was intentionally chosen to contrast the gold-toned fittings in the shower.

“People are intimidated to mix metals. It’s kind of the trend that if you want to go all black, then you have to go all black fixtures or if you want to go all gold, then you have to go all gold fixtures,” said Jenna Kauzlaric, Urban NW Homes director of design and client relations. “We felt that with the AirJet Shower Drying System since it already is so low-profile, we wanted it to blend in with the slab. By adding a gold trim, it would have maybe drawn the eye down whereas we wanted to keep the eye up with the transoms, lighting and plumbing fixtures. With the AirJet Shower Drying System and having that option to go with the brushed nickel, it just felt like it really incorporated well with our style and design.”

The AirJet Shower Drying System lends itself to the spa-like atmosphere of the en suite, which also boasts a freestanding bathtub, floating wooden vanities and heated floors. The walk-in shower is cornered on each side by expansive columns which mirror other elements of the house, including the exterior pillars at the home’s entrance.

Rebecca Jones, National Sales Manager at AIRMADA, recently visited the home and detailed how AIRMADA products were incorporated into the project.

“The AirJet Shower Drying System in this shower is going to speed up the drying process, help prevent mold and mildew, keep it a safer space to walk into, and eliminate the need for harsh cleaning chemicals,” Jones said. “A directional Nozzle was installed in the ceiling of each niche, and it’s going to dry down. The cool thing about these niches is that there is a nice little gap between the wall and the shelf so the air and the water can run off. This product really blends universal design and green building.”
